Yeşim Bakırküre designed the “glass cups series” 
concept for cold drinks for use and sale at Kahve Dünyası 
stores and she started from the idea of each drink being 
visually associated with a certain look. The handmade 
cups were produced at Paşabahçe Denizli facilities using 
glass blowing techniques.

The designs, acknowledged as outstanding design 
and regarded among the best in the sector, were awarded
the red dot design award – honorable mention 2010,
according to criteria such as degree of innovation,
functionality, stylistic quality, ergonomics, symbolic
and emotional content and thanks to their successful
detail analyses.
